Originally a collaboration between Agebjörn and Ercola – who’d met while Djing in Helsinki in 2009 – the duo struggled for over a year to finish The Last Day Of Summer. In the end, Johan sent the track to Queen of Hearts, having stumbled across her track Freestyle. She finished the songwriting, recorded the vocals and inspired by what she’d done, Agebjörn and Ercola went back to the studio to rework the track with live electric bass. The track features on Agebjörn's solo album Casablanca Nights.

Among the remixers are Canadian electro guys Le Matos, their remix is tailor-made for Valerie-style electro dancefloors. Swedish Le Prix - who collaborated with Agebjörn on Watch The World Go By - turns in a heavenly nu-italo interpretation, whereas Dreamtrak - who produced Queen Of Hearts blog sensation Freestyle - delivers an excellent reworking with house pianos and chopped up vocals. Finally Ercola chips in, with his own distinctive modern electro style.
